| ELIZABETH ACOSTA, D.C. will perform a leg-length analysis to help determine when to adjust and when not to adjust the spine. If the leg-length analysis suggestes an imblance, then "pelvic deficiency (P.D.)" or "functional short leg" may be present and activator manipulation may be beneficial. |
| Some people may have a difference in leg lengths with up to 2 centimeters (a bit under an inch) is considered normal. However, people with more pronounced leg length differences tend to develop back, hip and leg pain over time.
